After suffering with insomnia most of my adult like, I hit my breaking point and was desperate for sleep. I wound up getting a referral to local sleep doctor who my primary doctor said is the best in the country. It turns out that sleep doctor, Dr Peters, wrote this book. It’s a 6 week self guided behavioral therapy course with weekly tasks and goals. Not going to lie, by week two I was still feeling hopeless then the darndest thing happened... I SLEPT. Like, good sleep! Like I could fall asleep right away and actually stay asleep! The method described in the book taught me lifelong habits for better sleep and I could not be happier with the results. I feel like I have my life back.

I loved this book. I have read it at least four times. It helped me so much with my struggles of not sleeping. Follow every chapter. Each chapter is clear, easy to read and gave me the strength to handle my sleep issues. I highly recommend this book.

This is a great book and very informative for CBT-I . The price is extremely reasonable and very well organized. I am trying to follow the program now although difficult to change habits I've found my sleep to be greatly improved already! (2 1/2 weeks into the program)

I honestly didn’t think it’d work, but I was rather desperate so I gave it a shot. Haven’t sept this well in years. The program takes some patience and persistence, but it’s well worth it and certainly beats sleeping pills. Best of luck to my fellow light sleepers!

Just got my book in and started reading it. I am sleeping better

After years of sleepless nights, I was doubtful that anything could help my Insomnia. However, I started applying Dr. Peters’ sleep techniques and soon I experienced great improvements! I definitely recommend this amazing book!

I took Dr. Peter’s online course a year and a half ago and found that following his program dramatically helped my chronic insomnia problem of waking up during the middle of the night and being unable to get back to sleep. When his book was published I bought it as a reference book and use it to refresh my program as needed. I have shared it with friends who have either used the principles or followed the whole program as he describes in the book. I highly recommend this encouraging and supportive book. Beth Rudolph
