Sue Fliess ("fleece") is the author of eighteen children's books (published or forthcoming) including Tons of Trucks, Shoes for Me!, and Robots, Robots Everywhere! The pictures in this book are great but the text is not a "teaching" text, insects are not identified ... if you are looking for a book for children to learn the names of the insects, this isn't it.

I needed to add a few dollars to my cart and my toddler is into bugs so I threw this in the cart without reading any of the reviews. I usually don't mind rhyming text but this will have phrases that don't match the pictures like a page that says "caterpillars, centipedes" but only has a caterpillar on the page. None of the bugs have identification by them and a whole page is wasted on a worm. I find it hard to believe a more appropriate "bug" couldn't be found.

A great book for my toddler!Purchased this book for my toddler and he loves it! The book has live pics (not cartoons), which helps the kids identify actual bugs. And the story line rhymes.I would recommend this for any toddler library.

So my son is super annoyed each bug photo doesn’t say what bug it is and honestly my husband and I both don’t know some either , don’t buy !

Just a few pictures of bugs. Few names and no facts. Bugs A to Z is a much much better book. Wouldn't buy again.

I thought this book was for identifying common bugs for tots; it is not.

I was hoping for a 'look how cool bugs are' science, age appropriate book, but this ended up looking like a photoshop for beginners project. Literally if you like the cover that is what the rest of the book looks like with some poorly thought out rimes?

So cute! We love this sweet little bug book! My son and I spent weeks catching bugs and talking about them and all their different features! We really like this I think anyone who purchases it will like it too! Oh and the pictures in the book are amazing!
