I enjoy reading travel books written by women because I am a retired woman who loves to travel, and I am very interested in moving somewhere my lifestyle fits my budget. This book has answered so many of my questions, not only what to do when moving to Mexico, but how to do it. It is Queen's down to earth, step by step journey written with humor, and it so fits me, I pictured myself right there with her. She seems to have found her "perfect place", as I hope to do one day. I enjoy this book.

I am one of those people who has made the move to Lake Chapala (and love it here). From afar on Facebook in 2016 I enjoyed following Queen's journey. I arrived one month after Queen, and looking back, this book would have made a huge impact on me while I was planning my move. I recommend this to anyone sitting at their desk dreaming of moving to Mexico. With dynamic personal stories, Queen takes you through a list of important considerations from health care, how to stay connected with family, to what it takes to bring a car or your cat (both can be complicated but are possible) to Mexico. Once in Mexico, Queen fills you in on the feelings of vulnerability, but also the inner strength she gained, after making the big move. I appreciate that this isn't a dry list of things to check off before your move- it weaves the practical with humor, and highlights the upsides and the challenges of changing your life on a grand scale. This is a must read!!

Fortunately for my young colleague, the book was recently published. Until reading this book, I had shamefully little understanding of the overall electric powertrain. It took me just three weeks to eat this book up from front to back. It taught me SO MUCH!The authors don’t simply spit out facts. Their information is supported by math, but is conveyed in a manner that facilitates intuitive understanding. They have included critical equations that are incredibly useful to practicing engineers. (I have only seen a few of these published before, scattered in obscure technical papers.) Fortunately, much understanding can be derived by those who’s math skills are rusty (or nonexistent). I consider this the second best book in my extensive library of technical books. Highly recommended!
