Product Dimensions: 5.4 x 2.5 x 8.5 inches. Shipping Weight: 3.1 pounds."This tome is massive and at 1257 pages includes 827 illustrations. For medical school use, physiology, martial arts, physical training, artistic applications and knowledge, etc. The list goes on and on as to who and why this can and should be used. It should be on every home and library bookshelf. Well done at five stars.

FYI This is the abridged version. No where in the description did I see that mentioned.

I received the book rather quickly. Upon opening the box, I was immediately struck by how beautiful the cover of the book was. The leatherbound edition is pretty awesome and the raised cover illustration was very cool. I bought the book as a gift for my girlfriend, an R.N., and when I gave it to her, she was very impressed with the condition of the book (I purchased a used copy from a non-chain bookstore). It looked brand new. As a matter of fact, if I didn't know the book was used, I never would have guessed that it was, in fact, a used copy.As for the book itself, this collectible edition was incredibly beautiful and very impressive. The illustrations throughout the book are quite magnificent.So, ultimately, I was very happy with my purchase and my girlfriend was very excited to finally have this book in her collection (She has wanted to add this book to her personal collection for quite some time). The price was quite inexpensive (just a little over $40 altogether) and the book was in fantastic condition.So, suffice it to say I was very, very satisfied and very impressed.Thank's Amazon!

Its hard cover. I wanted a small portable, soft cover, that's why I got the abridged version. Oh well- its hard cover. It looks really nice and I love the abridged book as an osteology person (just wish it included teeth). The hardcover book is red and slides inside this cream colored sleeve.

Beautiful book, I bought it mainly as a curiosity but have already used it a couple of times as a reference. This particular printing looks and feels great.

My fault for not reading the description better.Wanted a color version

I bought a copy of Gray's Anatomy for personal enjoyment and writing research. This is a beautiful version and is actually my second copy. I purchased my first copy from Barnes and Noble. I ended up giving it away as a gift. When I went to purchase my own copy, they no longer stocked it, so I bought it here.

Such a beautiful copy of Gray's Anatomy that would make a perfect gift for the medical person in your life or just to have in your possession. So well put together and informative. A must have for any bookshelf.
