The more of these books I read, the more I am pulled into this universe. And, I love the ‘universe’s’ comments to Val! LolNot only am I looking forward to the next book, I hope there are spin off series as well by M.H. Johnson and other authors too. For instance: what is the story past and future for the one ‘enemy’ Terran left on the field of battle at the end of this book? What is happening back on Earth during the transition post the corporate takeover of the planet? ..with the dwarves? ...with the elves? :-D
What can I say except wow. Things are really heating up fast in this episode. Val has to step it up and quick as the forces against him move quickly. Val power and knowledge grow as he seems to not only survive but thrive and conquer. Can't wait for the next book.
While I really loved the first 3 books in this series, this 4th installment continues to raise the bar! A lot of loose ends get tied up, while new threads start. And the action is pretty non-stop for most of the book. I can't wait for the next book!
Rules are made and broken, seemingly at the authors whim, to suit the situation the MC finds themselves in. In particular Shadowmind seems to work differently almost every other chapter.
This is the fourth book in a great series that picks up right where book 3 ended. Valor is an interesting main character that I can’t wait to see what he does next.
Don't much like yet another stupid harem story, but it has redeeming parts. The story stagnates and sinks time into puerile character interactions. The characters have become more two dimensional since the last book. I am disappointed.
The road just keeps getting better and better. Can't wait to travel it until it's end. Keep up the great work.
Well written. Didn't want the story to end. Characters have depth and realistic flaws. All in all a great story. When can I read the next?
