I bough this book as a gift for a family member and he loved it! He's been into anime for years and never thought about drawing anime. After learning the skill, and he is continuing to learn, he enjoyed the book for giving him a new skill.
I've always had a love for anime but never had thought about drawing it. This book makes it super easy to draw the characters regardless of your artistic skills. I liked that the book went into detail about the history of anime too. Anyone can be an anime artist with this book!!I am going to share this with my niece as she enjoys anime too!
I have been passionate about anime for a while now, but I have never actually tried this style of drawing. Thanks to Li Shen I learned how to do this in a very easy way. If you would like yo learn or are just curious about the graphic novels world, then I highly recommend this book!
I like it so much especially that my brother got to read this one and learned a lot ofstrokes to use and techniques ti be able to draw a good anime character.I haven't found a good book as this one and very comprehensible.
Daughter loves it
My ten year old grand daughter loved the book and tells me she was even able to gather some friends to read it with her. She says all she needs is practice and soon she'll be able to sell them. Whenever she comes visit me she asks for the book to read and as it ssid near the top it comes with an extra book.
This product let me down. It was a small 15 page book about how to draw 4 characters. And for anime male, there was only one picture for it and it claimed to be "anime prince" but it was actually Edward Elrick from the Fullmetal Alchemist trilogy. DO NOT BUY
